Hace varios meses hicimos un cambio en nuestra experiencia de búsqueda predeterminada en
google.com
. Agregamos el cifrado
SSL
a las búsquedas de Google para aumentar la privacidad y seguridad de los usuarios que realizan consultas mientras están conectados con su cuenta de Google. El cambio, consistió en
cifrar las consultas de búsqueda y nuestra página de resultados de búsqueda
, algo particularmente importante cuando están utilizando una conexión a Internet abierta o insegura – como podría ser la de un café internet o un lugar público.
Ahora, ampliamos esta protección, por lo que durante las próximas semanas vamos a comenzar la introducción de la búsqueda

más allá de
google.com
a nuestros dominios locales de todo el mundo. Al igual que antes, esperamos que estos esfuerzos por ampliar el uso del cifrado

en nuestros servicios motiven a otras empresas a adoptar
