Destacando a los periodistas en Google News

El buen periodismo requiere de más que simples hechos y cifras, requiere de reporteros capaces de entretejer historias convincentes. Saber quién escribió un artículo puede ayudar a los lectores a comprender el contexto y la calidad del artículo, ver más artículos escritos por la misma persona, e incluso interactuar directamente con ellos. Se pueden formar comunidades enteras en torno a autores prominentes, por lo que hemos comenzado a mostrar
información acerca de los creadores de contenidos
a un lado de su material en el buscador de Google.
En consecuencia, Google News estará implementando, a lo largo de las próximas semanas, más información sobre los periodistas, empezando con las ediciones en el idioma inglés. Cuando los reporteros enlacen su perfil de Google con sus artículos, Google News mostrará el nombre del autor, y el número de personas que lo tienen dentro de sus círculos de Google+. Para los artículos principales de cada historia, Google News también mostrará la imagen de perfil del reportero y permitirá a los lectores agregarlo a alguno de sus círculos en Google+ directamente desde la página principal de Google News.
